WHO launches Basic Emergency Care training course

Developed by WHO and ICRC, in collaboration with the International Federation for Emergency Medicine, Basic Emergency Care (BEC): Approach to the acutely ill and injured is an open-access training course for frontline healthcare providers who manage acute illness and injury with limited resources.

New Special Interest Groups – Call for Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest are invited for membership of :

  • Behavioural Emergencies Special Interest Group
  • Critical Care Special Interest Group
  • Trauma Special Interest Group

Nominations may be submitted by an IFEM member organisation, or by an individual member of a Member organisation.   Exceptions can be made if the individual is from a non-IFEM organization but can offer individual expertise.
