Respuesta global a COVID‐19 para proveedores y sistemas de atención médica de emergencia: del Grupo de trabajo de IFEM sobre hacinamiento y bloqueo de acceso a la DE
La enfermedad del coronavirus (COVID‐19) fue declarada pandemia por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) el 11 de marzo de 2020. A partir del 25 de marzo de 2020, el virus ha afectado a 169 países con más de 450,000 casos confirmados. y más de 21,000 muertes. Este comunicado de prensa es para confirmar el apoyo del IFEM a los procedimientos que deben promulgarse de inmediato para garantizar la entrega de atención de emergencia oportuna y efectiva, incluyendo la pronta admisión del paciente y proteger la integridad de la atención médica global como lo define la OMS.
