His charm, determination and leadership found solutions for even difficult situations and brought Emergency Medicine into the limelight. As President of RCEM he was committed to bringing positive change in the specialty of Emergency Medicine. He will be enormously missed! His untimely death is a great loss to EM”.
Dr Mann was also engaged in improving emergency medical care globally, through his contribution to the work of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. He was known to be insightful about the challenges faced in improving emergency medical care, at the same time having a down to earth approach and a great sense of humour.
