Committee and Group Expression of Interest 2025-2027

Expressions of interest are invited for membership to IFEM’s five Standing Committees and six new Groups sitting underneath these committees. The term of office will be May 2025 – June 2027.  We look forward to receiving your nominations.

Eligibility:  Nominees must be a member of one of IFEM’s member organizations (a national or multi-national society). If you are unsure of these, check the lists in IFEM’s website “Membership” section HEREApplications will be limited to two choices per applicant.

IFEM Committees and Groups are a very important part of IFEM. Our aim is for committee membership to be as representative of the broader IFEM membership as possible. Fair regional representation will be taken into account in the selection process.

Applications will be made in two phases. 

Phase 1:

Committees

Phase 2:

Nominations will be considered by the Committee Chairs in consultation with the Nominations Committee. Membership will be selected with attention to the following criteria:

  • Diversity of country of medical practice and gender
  • Expertise relevant to the committee’s work

 
Meeting attendance:  Annually during the ICEM conference (in person or online) and a further 4-6 times per year online, usually at around noon 12.00 UTC / GMT time.

Nominations must be received by 2 April 2025 for Phase 1. Appointments will be confirmed in May 2025 and meetings will start within 2 months of notification. Further notice will be given for Phase 2 nominations. If you would like to apply for one in each phase, please just enter one choice in this round (Phase 1).
