Advocacy

Advocacy is a powerful tool to drive transformative change in emergency medical care systems and save lives.

We recognize that developing solutions to global emergency medicine challenges isn’t enough, and another critical component to achieving our mission is influencing the priorities and actions of those in power, and securing the support of key decision-makers, policymakers and others who can commit the necessary resources and enact necessary policies.

IFEM works hand-in-hand with our Member organizations to advocate for funding and policy decisions that will have the greatest impact and address the specific and unique emergency medicine gaps and challenges in our Member countries.
