The World Federation of Emergency Nurses was established by a coalition of emergency nursing leaders who recognised the need for a unified global voice. Bringing together national associations, societies, and individual emergency nurses, the Federation aims to advance emergency nursing practice, advocacy, leadership, education and research worldwide.
The Federation is based on the principle of equity, equality and inclusion; a coalition of interested emergency nursing organisations, clinicians, leaders, educators and researchers.
Purpose
The World Federation of Emergency Nurses will be the recognised global voice of emergency nursing, providing professional identity, connecting emergency nurses across countries, strengthening national associations, advancing education and research, influencing policy, and contributing to improved emergency care outcomes worldwide.
