Regional Forum Group

About

Purpose of the Regional Forum Group

The Regional Forum Group supports strong inclusion and communication, both into and out from IFEM, strengthening collaboration and sharing best practice between regions and regional societies. Its work focuses on strong links with member regional societies for developing Emergency Medicine as a specialty.

Function of the Regional Forum Group

The Regional Forum Group serves to:

advise the Board wherever input with regional or national nuance is relevant
assist the Board in identifying help to provide input from emergency physicians and other emergency healthcare staff in speciﬁc regions, for policies and documents
identify gaps in IFEM’s suite of documents or policy areas, as identiﬁed by member regional societies or national societies and to highlight these to the Board
maintain good relationships with member regional societies and look for opportunities for collaboration or ampliﬁcation of their work at global level
meet regularly to share best practice, problems and solutions, resources and support
