Membership Group

About

Purpose of the Membership Group

The Group sits within the Emergency Care Development Committee to act as a liaison forum to advise the President, Board, Committees and Assembly members on membership-related issues.

Function of the Membership Group

The Membership Group serves to:

advise and assist the Board on matters relating to key areas of internal, interface and external policy
assist the President in matters and meetings concerning the IFEM Assembly
provide a forum for Assembly members to canvass views on topics either in depth or as preparation for Assembly / Board / Council meetings
assist and advise the Board and Council on matters affecting member societies (for example ﬁnancial, political)
assist societies who want to join IFEM, by discussing membership beneﬁts and giving support in their application to assist the secretariat in maintaining accurate membership details, liaising with societies when necessary
regularly map the geographical distribution of IFEM’s member societies and assist the EM Development Committee in identifying national societies or nations likely to beneﬁt from IFEM’s assistance
