The theme of the 2023 Winter Symposium is Transitioning the Coalface. It has been a rollercoaster ride with climate change and the pandemic. The climate at the coalface needs transition. Similarly, we have transitioned our practice and processes at the coalface.
 
The Symposium will create a space to discuss, reflect and introspect on this transition, with the aim to generate ideas from lived experience to improve the future practice of emergency medicine.
