James Kwan

Chair, Academic Committee
James is Senior Consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.
He holds academic appointments at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in Singapore. Prior to his move to Singapore in 2016, he was the Academic Head of Emergency Medicine and Lead in assessment in the School of Medicine at Western Sydney University in Australia. James is passionate about medical education and has led curricular development in undergraduate medical programs and postgraduate training programs at national and international level. His interests in medical education lie in the area of assessment and entrustable professional activities, in addition to his clinical interests in disaster medicine and trauma management.
