Elif Dilek Cakal
Emergency Medicine Association of Turkey

Dr Elif Dilek Cakal, MD, MMEd, is an emergency physician and medical educator, currently serving as a Higher Clinical Fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and as an Undergraduate Clinical Supervisor at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, UK. She completed her postgraduate training in emergency medicine at Ege University, Turkey, and holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee, UK, with extensive experience in both clinical practice and educational leadership. She has led and contributed to numerous international education and research initiatives with the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM), including IFEM Undergraduate and Postgraduate Emergency Medicine Model Curricula, Education Primers, the international Emergency Medicine (iEM) Education Project, Clinical Teaching Workshops, and Virtual Learning Events. Her scholarship focuses on clinical teaching and simulation, the clinical learning environment, workplace culture and psychological safety, and global emergency medicine education.
