Dr. Lim serves as a member of the Asian Society for Emergency Medicine Board of Directors and is the immediate past president of the Society for Emergency Medicine in Singapore (SEMS). In his current leadership roles, he functions as the Ambulatory and Community Care Discipline Lead at Eastern General Hospital (EGH), Programme Director of the Changi General Hospital (CGH) Emergency Department Fellowship in Emergency Medicine Program, and Deputy Academic Chair of the SingHealth Emergency Medicine Academic Clinical Programme.

Dr. Lim's distinguished service has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the National Award (COVID-19) Commendation Medal, the National Clinical Excellence Team Award (2021), and the Healthcare Humanity Award (2012).

His academic credentials include a Fellowship in Disaster Medicine from the University of California, Irvine, and he serves on the International Editorial Board of the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Lim is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and extends his service beyond healthcare as Vice-President of the Singapore Anglican Community Services.

Through his multifaceted roles in clinical practice, academic leadership, and community service, Dr. Lim continues to advance emergency medicine and contribute to healthcare excellence in Singapore and internationally.
