8th African Conference on Emergency Medicine – AfCEM 2026

The 8th African Conference on Emergency Medicine (AfCEM 2026), co-hosted by the African Federation for Emergency Medicine (AFEM) and the Emergency Medicine Association of Tanzania (EMAT), will bring together emergency care professionals, researchers, educators and policymakers from across Africa and beyond.

Under the theme “Transforming Emergency Care in Africa: Innovation, Integration and Inclusion,” the conference will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation to strengthen emergency care systems and improve access to quality emergency services across the continent.

The programme will feature scientific sessions, expert discussions, networking opportunities and pre-conference workshops.
