Global emergency care: Convergence of conflict, catastrophe, contagion and climate change
Virtual Learning Event by RCEM | Accredited for 6 CPD Points
As conflicts, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural and human-made disasters increase in frequency, severity and reach, often intensified by climate change, emergency care professionals face increasingly complex challenges.
Organised by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM), this virtual learning event will explore the principles, frameworks, resources and guidance essential for effective global emergency care. It aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge and preparedness for emergency and humanitarian healthcare settings, particularly those involved in or considering humanitarian response and capacity-building activities.
