25th International Conference on Emergency Medicine (ICEM 2026)
ICEM 2026 in Hamburg
Dear colleagues, friends, and members of the global Emergency Medicine community!
It is with great excitement and heartfelt anticipation that we welcome you to ICEM 2026 in Hamburg, Germany, a city ready to open its arms to the world.
This is more than a conference. ICEM 2026 will be a global gathering – a celebration of Emergency Medicine and of the professionals who shape it. Inspired by the spirit of the Olympic Games, we’re creating something truly unique: a place where nations come together not only to learn and share, but to live, connect, and celebrate side by side.
Under the theme #wetogetherforward, we invite you to join us in a movement defined by collaboration, innovation, and global solidarity. This conference will be a powerful reminder that progress in our field happens not in isolation, but through collective effort, shared experiences, and mutual support. Across five vibrant days, ICEM 2026 will explore the evolving landscape of emergency care – from cutting-edge technologies and global health challenges to education, equity, and sustainability in our field. State-of-the-art science, hands-on workshops, and powerful discussions on the future of Emergency Medicine will be presented in a setting that fosters connection and community.
At the heart of this vision is our ICEM Village in Hamburg’s HafenCity – inspired by the Olympic Village. Here, participants will stay, meet, relax, and exchange ideas well beyond the lecture halls. This is where professional exchange meets friendship, and where global networks are born in the most human way: through spontaneous conversations, shared meals, and unforgettable moments.
Hamburg, with its maritime charm, cultural richness, and open-minded spirit, is the perfect host city for this occasion. Together, we will turn this conference into a living, breathing international experience – shaped by thousands of passionate emergency care professionals from around the globe.
Let’s make ICEM 2026 our opportunity to celebrate our identity and the power of collaboration.
Let us move forward together - as a global community committed to excellence in Emergency Medicine.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hamburg in June 2026.
With warm regards,
Dr. Michael Wünning
