Paediatric Blast Injury Field Manual English language version
The Paediatric Blast Injury Partnership, a collaboration between Save the Children, Imperial College London, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and WISH Qatar have released a Ukrainian translation of the Paediatric Blast Injury Field manual to support clinicians treating children with conflict injuries in Ukraine. The manual is designed to follow the child’s care continuum from point of injury to discharged and to empower non-paediatricians to use their skills to successfully deliver trauma care to the patient. Originally written for clinicians in Syria the manual has been distributed to several conflict zones worldwide and is available in 6 languages currently. It is free to access and available via the QR code below. The Partnership continues to develop resources to help clinicians and advocates for the 120 million children at daily risk of blast injury in high intensity conflict zones around the world.
