Please note, this series has 5 Sessions. Up until the commencement of the 1st Session on 30 November 2024, Session tickets can be purchased separately, or all 5 Sessions can be purchased at a discounted rate.
Who should attend?
Consultants and specialists in emergency medicine with an interest in being simulation faculty who are looking to set up their own simulation centers or to improve existing simulation practices.
Learning objectives
- Understanding of how medical education theories utilize simulation as a means of teaching human factors.
- Understanding of the requirements for setting up a low/hi fidelity simulation center.
- Ability to write simulation scenarios with consideration for the objectives and assessment criteria.
- Ability to run simulation scenarios in low/hi fidelity centers.
- Understanding of various debriefing techniques and how to flexibly apply the correct one for each scenario.

Speakers
The program will be run by a dynamic faculty that are all members of the IFEM Core Curriculum and Education Committee. They are experienced educators with a significant background in simulation having set up and run dozens of simulation centers between them.
