White Paper on Global Well-Being for Emergency Physicians
Emergency physicians worldwide face mounting pressures, from demanding workloads and overcrowding to resource constraints and burnout. Protecting their well-being is essential to sustaining safe, effective emergency care.
Developed by IFEM’s Public and Environmental Health Special Interest Group (PEHSIG), this white paper examines these challenges and highlights strategies and global initiatives to improve physician well-being.
It also outlines IFEM’s priorities for driving meaningful change through advocacy, collaboration, education and research.
