Interested to join EECSIG?
The EEC SIG welcomes new members who are members/trainees of IFEM member organisations. The ideal time to join is either in the final year of EM residency training, during their time as a fellow of an EM subspecialty training program, or within the first several years after completion of training. The EEC SIG also welcomes new members who are not members of an IFEM member organisation, provided they can contribute to the work of the
EEC SIG.

Dr Navid Azad is the membership lead of EEC SIG. Any questions about joining, please email him on [email protected]
How to Apply?
To apply to be a member (membership is free), please complete the online application form and submit a short CV. Once your application is reviewed by the EEC SIG leadership, you will be contacted directly regarding the result of your application. You may join other special interest groups of IFEM in addition to EEC SIG, provided you are willing to contribute also to their work.
Currently we have members from Africa, Asia, Australiasia and the Pacific, Europe, and North America. We are particularly looking for members from Latin America, as well as additional members from the other global regions listed, to ensure we have representation in all the official six global regions of IFEM. We are also looking for representatives from regional trainee and young EM physician organisations around the world.
