Rosa McNamara
Irish Association for Emergency Medicine
Chair, Geriatric Emergency Medicine Special Interest Group
Rosa McNamara is a consultant in Emergency Medicine with special interests in Geriatric Emergency Medicine and Medical Education. She has worked in the United Kingdom and in Ireland developing clinical and educational pathways for unscheduled care of Older Adults with a focus on integration and inter-professional working. She has masters degrees in gerontology from King's College London, and in medical education from the University of Dundee. She is also a member of EUSEM involved in the section of Geriatric Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Medicine Examination Reference Group for Europe (EMERGE). She is currently working in St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland and is an Associate Clinical Professor at University College Dublin.
