The Mexican Society of Emergency Medicine SMME is a medical society with academic and scientific purposes with 37 years of foundation in Mexico. Its structure and operation are based on our current statutes. Our affiliates are made up of physicians specializing in emergency medicine, prehospital personnel who work in emergency systems, emergency nursing, and students in the health area.

Our current president is Dr. Professor Luis Daniel Sánchez Arreola who represents our society in support of a board of directors represented by emergency medical professionals.

Our main operating philosophy is to professionalize emergency medicine in the academic and scientific fields, as well as to promote projects that promote the development of professional emergency medicine care in all areas as an inherent right, as well as professional growth. of our affiliates.
