Committee Expression of Interest 2023-2025

Expressions of interest are invited for membership to IFEM’s Standing Committees, for membership June 2023 – June 2025.  We look forward to receiving your nominations.

Eligibility:  Nominees must be a member of good standing within the IFEM member organization. 

IFEM Committees are a very important part of IFEM. Our aim is for committee membership to be as representative of the broader IFEM membership as possible.  IFEM has seven Standing Committees:

• Clinical Practice
• Continuing Professional Development
• Core Curriculum and Education
• Finance
• Governance
• Research
• Specialty Implementation

Current committee membership and terms of reference for each Committee can be found on each Committee's About web page.

Nominations will be considered by the Committee Chairs in consultation with an Executive-led selection panel. Committees will be constituted with attention to the following criteria:

• Diversity of country of medical practice and gender
• Expertise relevant to the committee’s work

 
Meeting attendance:  Annually during the ICEM conference and a further 2-4 times per year.

Nominations must be received by 24 March 2023. Appointments will be confirmed in May 2023.
